TRODE ERCuNi (70/30) filler metal is made up of about 70% copper and 30% nickel, with small amounts of iron and manganese added to enhance strength and weldability. It meets the AWS A5.7 classification and boasts a tensile strength ranging from 380 to 450 MPa (55 to 65 ksi), along with good elongation and toughness. This alloy is particularly resistant to corrosion, especially in saltwater, brine, and seawater conditions. Its mechanical stability and metallurgical compatibility make it an excellent choice for joining Cu-Ni alloys and for surfacing applications where resistance to corrosion and erosion is essential.
